“Worked All Greggs” A first in Telford and the world?
We can get too serious at times in our hobby but members decided to have some fun and invented “Worked All Greggs” possibly a first
WAG?
A Thursday morning they got mobile. They all stating at the Donnington Clock tower Greggs and were trying to visit all 16 Telford
area Greggs, also working 5 stations from each one.
John M0XJA, Heather M0HMO, Scott M7WUK, Mick M1CKD all drove around and had a lot of fun and laughs and some products were consumed too.
One wonders if worked all gyms might be the next activity—foot portable of course.
Dear Chairman of TDARS,
I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Martin Vincent. I’ll always remember him for awarding me the Jack Hassell Trophy in the early 90s. Martin was also a valued team member when we ran 12wpm Morse tests for the Shropshire region.
He dedicated a significant part of his life to TDARS and radio in general. I’ll always look up to him as a role model. Please extend my belated sympathy to his family and the TDARS community.

Hi John thank you for the message – Martyn was an inspiration to us all – myself included in the mid-1970s welcoming myself and other swls to be effectively apprentice radio amateurs. Martyn always went that step further in doing what was necessary and also fixing things before the rest of us even knew there was a problem.
